There's now right or wrong way to use Doit.io, but it's recommended that you use labels to create added structure to your notes, allowing you to group your work together.
This is especially handy when you have many notes so that you can quickly find what you're looking for.
To create a simple hierarchy of labels, you can use sub-labels. Creating a structure like this makes it easier to navigate your content and work.
Here are a few other examples of how to make use of Doit.io's Labels:
For work-related notes
- You can start by creating a Key: /work label to group all work-related notes into one label (or category).
- Add sub-labels to be more specific. For example, a label called Key: /work/meeting-notes , Key: /work/marketing or Key: /work/website. Or it can be a project name, Key: /work/launchplan
This simple structure will allow you to filter and search for notes related to work and it's sub-labels.
For personal notes
- Start by creating a label called Key: /personal, for all your personal projects
- You can add sub-labels such as Key: /personal/todo, Key: /personal/books, or Key: /personal/school.
