Calendar view allows you to look at all tasks and events from a different perspective. Users can review all tasks due (and overdue) as well as any upcoming events on the agenda.
Using Calendar view means you can either add tasks that need to be completed today, or you can go directly to due date in mind by clicking on the date on the calendar panel on the right, and create a task (or event) from there.
Share or Assign a Task
Similarly as with Task View, each individual task or event can be shared by clicking on the share icon on the right hand side of the section.
Set due date
If you want to change the due / start date for any task or event, you can change this by clicking the word 'Today' that's highlighted in blue. There the drop down calendar will appear and you can easily move your task or event, without having to write it out again under a new date.
Just like in Task View, at the very far right of the section you will see 3 vertical dots. Hitting this button drop down the section menu where users have the possibility of converting a task to an event (and vice versa), marking the section as important or deleting the section altogether.
Hide Tasks or Events
You can choose to hide tasks or events created in separate notes from your calendar. Click on the icon to hide all tasks (or events) from that particular note. Tasks and events created from Calendar view cannot be hidden.
To return hidden tasks or events to Calendar view, go to the note containing the tasks or events in question. Click on the 3 dots in the right hand corner of the note (visible both inside and outside of the note.) From the drop down menu click 'Show in My Tasks & Calendar'.
In the coming months we will be allowing users to connect their current calendars with Doit. This integration will allow users to view and manage all their appointments, tasks and events in one place, saving time switching back and forth.
